Operator Groupe Partouche has confirmed a 10.2 per cent rise in gross gaming revenue to €701.5m in its full-year results.

The company’s annual accounts up to October 31 also showed turnover of €423.8m, up nine per cent, and an EBITDA increase of 0.7 per cent to €76.1m.

The group said the performance was fuelled by growth in slot machine revenue of 7.6 per cent, the GGR of electronic forms of traditional games in France – up 20.3 per cent – and online games in Switzerland, which recorded revenue growth of 41.6 per cent.

Current operating income increased by 18.3 per cent to €27.4m, Groupe Partouche said, due to the “return to normal activity over the entire financial year, and mainly under the influence of the casino sector.”

Overall, the group generated a profit of €23.4m, but this is down from €37.1m in 2022.

Groupe Partouche also revealed that the Middelkerke casino in Belgium will begin operating online casino games adapted to the Belgian market from the end of January.

This comes after the partnership between the group and Betsson Group struck last June.

The Middelkerke casino is to be transferred to the seafront, the company said, at the end of March.

Groupe Partouche also revealed details of ongoing work to its properties. The Vichy casino is undergoing a “complete renovation,” set to be completed in June 2025, which “aims to increase the gaming areas” and “modernise and enhance the services offered.”
