It was recently reported that Bristol Casino: The Future Home Of Hard Rock, exceeded over $215 million in adjusted gaming income last month, aka October, approximately 16 months after officially opening its doors.

Adjusted gaming income for Virginia’s first casino:

The aforementioned temporary establishment in Bristol revealed that it collected nearly $12.7 million in adjusted gaming income last month, almost equaling its September total of $12.71 million, in compliance with the latest Virginia Lottery report. Furthermore, it earned $10.32 million in adjusted income particularly from its 897 slot machines, representing nearly 81% of its total income for the said month. Although income earned from slots fell down a little, income from its 29 table games increased to $2.35 million, a growth of $2.03 million compared to the previous month.

During its first 16 months since it officially opened, the casino revealed it generated more than $215.4 million in overall adjusted gaming income, bets minus winnings, involving $176 million from slot machines and nearly $39 million, historical data reveals.

Adjusted gaming income for state’s three casinos:

Throughout October, Virginia’s 3 casinos, such as the aforementioned Bristol Casino, Rivers Casino Portsmouth and the Caesars interim establishment in Danville, disclosed that they collected more than $49.5 million in adjusted gaming income, involving $12.4 million from table games and $37.2 million from slots, in compliance with the information from the lottery.

Since we already covered the first casino, the second, Rivers Casino Portsmouth, disclosed that its October income was $20.03 million, of which $14.3 million was generated from slots machines and $5.7 million from 81 table games. As for the third casino, aka the interim Caesars Virginia establishment located in Danville, it also unveiled its October income of $16.84 million, which represents almost $4.25 million earned from 33 table games and $12.6 million from 822 slot machines, according to The Bristol Herald Courier.

Looking at the gaming tax income for the month in question, all 3 mentioned casinos collected an overall of $9.11 million. The first raised $2.28 million, involving more than $760.000 for Southwest Virginia. Then, the next one raised $3.79 million, involving $1.24 million generated for the host city, i.e. Portsmouth.

And finally, the third casino in Danville raised $3.03 million, involving $1.01 million generated for the city in which it is located, Danville. Of all that gaming tax income, Virginia earned approximately $6 million for October alone, in compliance with the information obtained from the report.
