Bally’s adds to executive leadership team

Bally’s Corporation has hired Kim Barker Lee as its new executive vice president, chief legal officer.

Lee will oversee the global casino entertainment company’s legal and public affairs teams, supporting its global strategic initiatives.

She noted the “significant” opportunities on offer as Bally’s aims to increase its omni-channel influence.

“I’ve spent much of my career deploying leadership and operational strategies in the lottery and gaming space, so I understand how the industry works and the challenges that must be overcome,” she added.

Lee has worked for over 25 years in lottery, gaming and governmental law, as well as harbouring experience with public private partnerships, public finance transactions, corporate governance and regulatory matters.

She was most recently the global vice president of diversity and inclusion at International Game Technology, before which she was the general counsel and vice president for legal and regulatory affairs at Northstar Lottery Group.

Lee Fenton, chief executive officer at Bally’s, said the company is “confident” Lee’s experience will be “instrumental as the company continues to expand and evolve.”

Fenton also pointed to Lee’s understanding of the Rhode Island and Illinois markets as “particularly valuable.”
