The Asian Poker Tour Schedule: A Summer Full of Fun

The Asian Poker Tour (APT) is about to begin! 

The Tour, whose sponsor is Natural8, finally announced some Series dates for new events in APT Summer Series. The information about APT Incheon South Korea 2023 was also announced to the public.

From April 28 to May 7, on APT Taipei 2023 in Asia Poker Arena in Taiwan, the APT New Era will be launched. But that’s not all – an amazing tournament awaits the players during Q2 and Q3 this year.

Beginning in Vietnam:

The first in the series of tournaments will be held in Hanoi at Grand Loyal Poker Club, situated on the second level of the famous Grand Vista Hotel. The event will begin on May 26 and it will last until June 4. 

The Main Event buy-in is VND 35 million, which is equivalent to USD $1,500. That can bring the players the amount of VND 12 billion, which is about USD $500K prize pool guarantee.

The second event will last for ten days, from July 21 to July 30. It will be held at the beach hotel Furama Resort in Danang, Vietnam. Not only staying in this world-class hotel resort will allow the visitors to enjoy all the benefits of the beach in summer, but there is also a possibility to earn the amount of VND 12 billion (or about US $500K), which is a guaranteed prize pool for this tournament. With a buy-in for the Main Event of VND 35 million (about $1.500 USD), fantastic prizes can be achieved!

South Korean adventure:

After Vietnam, the Tour is moving to South Korea. The tournament will be held from August 25 to September 3 at Paradise City Casino in Incheon. The Main Event Buy-in is KRW 2,300,000 (~USD $1,700), and the guaranteed prize pool is KRW 1,300,000.000 (~USD $1M).

Paradise City Casino is the biggest casino in South Korea, reserved only for foreign tourists. This South-Korean excursion is added to the Tour after APT Ho Chi Minh 2023 has been postponed due to the issues related to the regulatory climate.

Neil Johnson, the President of the APT, said: “Last year, the APT had a tremendous summer in Vietnam with a double stop in Hanoi and a tremendous event in Ho Chi Minh City. Now we’re back to celebrate part of the summer in Vietnam again, returning to Grand Loyal in Hanoi and then packing our beach gear for Furama Resort in Da Nang! Once we get all the sand out of our luggage, it is time to fight for a million again, only this time in Incheon. It will surely be a summer to remember!”
