ROFUS blocks betting in Danish stores

Home » ROFUS blocks betting in Danish stores

Following the implementation of mandatory Player ID when buying bets in retail stores in Denmark, ROFUS, the Danish Gambling Authority’s self-exclusion register, will now also block betting in them.

As a result, registering with ROFUS will now block players from online games offered by operators with a Danish licence, casinos in Denmark, and bets offered at a physical retailer in Denmark, as well as direct advertising from these gambling operators.

Mandatory Player ID for betting at physical retailers came into effect on October 1, 2023. Those who registered with ROFUS before that date and have not renewed their registration will have their exclusion parameters unchanged until they renew.
