Intralot signs 10-year lottery deal in Taiwan

Intralot, which provides the technology for the Taiwanese Public Welfare Lottery, has completed a deal for a 10-year extension.

The deal was brokered between LotRich Information Co, a Taiwanese joint venture in which Intralot is the major shareholder, and CTBC Bank.

Under the terms of the deal, Intralot will be providing the LotosX gaming platform which includes the IGMS Instant Games Management System, RetailerX Retailer Management System and Canvas Signage Content Management System.

5,500 PhotonX terminals will be installed in retailer locations across Taiwan.

CTBC Bank first obtained the licence to operate the lottery in 2007 and Intralot has supplied the technology since then.
