Interblock appoints Herrera EMEA president

Interblock has announced that Marco Herrera has been appointed as its new president of Europe, Middle East and Africa.

An experienced business leader and industry expert, Herrera brings an unprecedented level of achievement and 30 years of experience.

“I have had the privilege of historically working with Marco for many years and know him to be one of the most experienced international gaming executives within our sector,” said John Connelly, global CEO of Interblock.

“The ability to have Marco living in Europe, to lead the growth of our company across one of the more complicated regions globally, is a significant advantage we intend to capitalise on.

Herrera’s success and pursuit of excellence is evident throughout his vast gaming career. He has held global leadership and executive-level positions including chief information officer, chief technology officer and most recently senior vice president and managing director.

From the optimisation of business processes to spearheading the implementation of modern technologies, Herrera has advanced the gaming industry and will further Interblock EMEA amid the company’s record growth.
