The International Gaming Standards Association has announced the departure of its long-standing president, Peter DeRaedt.
The IGSA board expressed its “deepest gratitude to Peter for his 25 years of unwavering dedication and outstanding service.”
His departure marks the end of an illustrious career with the association in which he has been a guiding light and a pillar in harmonising the diverse interests within the gaming industry.
His dedication and leadership have been instrumental in establishing IGSA as a neutral advocate and authoritative voice in the industry. Under his leadership, the association developed numerous standards that have been adopted worldwide.
In recognition of his contributions, the IGSA board has conferred upon DeRaedt the honorary title of president emeritus for life. Mark Pace, currently IGSA vice president, will become acting president.
