Global Gaming Expo (G2E) goes virtual October 27-28

The Global Gaming Expo (G2E) is going virtual. The conference is set to take place virtually on October 27-28. On October 14, producers of the conference will host a special online session that is complimentary, featuring three leaders of the gaming industry as they discuss how gaming venues can reopen and be successful during the current pandemic.

2020 Programming

For the virtual G2E, attendees will be able to log online and listen to keynote addresses as well as take part in education sessions. There will be pre-planned meetings and opportunities for networking. The American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions are producing the conference.

Cait DeBaun, the AGA Senior Director of Strategic Communications and Responsibility commented that while it would be nice to have the event in Las Vegas like it normally is offered, the AGA is excited to bring the G2E experience to attendees and exhibitors located all over the world.

The virtual two-day affair will take the place of the three-day event that is hosted in Las Vegas each year. The 2020 edition was canceled in July due to the restrictions on global travel as well as guidance regarding large crowds.

Virtual Platform

During the two-day program, leaders will come together to share their perspectives on several topics within the gaming industry. This will include:

• Payment modernization
• Recovery during COVID-19
• Tribal gaming
• Legalized sports betting expansion in the US

With the virtual platform, exhibitors along with buyers will be able to conduct business within virtual showrooms. They can also offer product demos and one-on-one meetings.
