Reflex Gaming, an omni-channel supplier of gambling games, is teaming up with Yggdrasil, a leading iGaming publisher, once again to deliver a high volatility twist on the classic slot experience in their latest release, Sidewinder DoubleMax.
Combining a nostalgic, classic fruit theme with Yggdrasil’s innovative Game Engagement Mechanic (GEM), Sidewinder DoubleMax has five reels and 20 paylines and offers a max win of 5,000x.
The game’s Sidewinder feature is triggered randomly after a losing spin. The feature sees the reels shuffled to a winning combination to automatically award a payout. The DoubleMax mechanic sees a win multiplier trail starting at 1x and doubles for every consecutive win, allowing players to quickly advance to high multipliers that can boost winnings significantly.
At the start of the Sidewinder feature both wild and super wild positions are added to the multiplier trail. Whenever the trail reaches these trigger points, either a wild or a super wild is added to the reels, boosting the winning possibilities.
Players can select the Golden Bet feature by increasing their stake by 25%, improving the chances of the Sidewinder feature activating. Alternatively, the Bonus Buy allows players to pay 50x their stake to instantly trigger the Sidewinder feature.
Sidewinder DoubleMax is powered by GATI, with Yggdrasil’s state-of-the-art technology enabling partners to employ the preconfigured, regulation-ready, standardised development toolkit to consistently produce cutting-edge content followed by rapid distribution.
“The YG Masters program allows us to facilitate the delivery of content that appeals to every sort of player and Sidewinder DoubleMax pays homage to the old-school fruit machines,” the Chief Gaming Officer for Yggdrasil, Mark McGinley, said. “Combining classic slot gameplay with modern features by way of our unbeatable GEMs, we’re able to consistently deliver cutting-edge content.”
“Our collection of titles that blend land-based themes and graphics into a modern, online offering have been well received by players and we’re proud to expand our portfolio with Sidewinder DoubleMax,” the Chief Product Officer for Reflex Gaming, Mat Ingram, said.
