Clarion welcomes charity partner applications

Clarion Gaming is inviting not-for-profit safer gambling organisations to apply to become its 2023/24 charity partner, with a deadline of July 31.

The partnership will see the successful charity confirmed as an ICE ambassador and receive bespoke branding at the ICE, iGB Affiliate London and iGB L!VE conferences next year.

The charity would attend the opening ceremonies for each event, receive branding in show guides and on the events’ websites and attend as guests at VIP events.

The ability to fundraise through a QR code and advertising presence is also included in the package.

Interested third-party organisations should explain how they would use the partnership to help address challenges they are facing, alongside their ideas for the future.

Stuart Hunter, managing director at Clarion, said the latest collaboration opportunity is an extension of its plan to “rotate and build relationships with a range of progressive safer gambling organisations,” which was introduced with Clarion’s Charity Partnership with YGAM.

Hunter added that the Consumer Protection Zone, which debuted at ICE in 2018 and which is heading to iGB L!VE for the first time next week, has “grown in size and status, with the 2023 edition hosting a record 20 stands.

“The CPZ was recognised by the industry at the Global Regulatory Awards and has grown to become arguably the most visible manifestation of safer gambling at any industry trade show. We are also supporters of the awareness raising Safer Gambling Week which this year runs across 13 – 19 November.”

The partnership is slated to go live on September 1 and will run until July 31 next year.
