The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians has joined with Caesars Entertainment in a $650m development in Virginia.


The partnership will see ground broken this week in Danville to create a new venue opening in 2024.

Caesars Virginia will have a 500-room hotel and casino with 1,300 slots, 85 live table games, 24 electronic table games, a poker room and a sportsbook.

It will also feature a spa, pool, bars and restaurants and a live entertainment theatre and convention space.
