A B2B software license has been granted to Swedish provider of online gaming solutions, Yggdrasil, by the Isle of Man Supervision Commission, ensuring its long-term presence across scores of existing markets.

According to a company press release, the new Isle of Man certification increases the number of licenses the online casino games developer has obtained to eight.

Growing presence:

The Cherry Ab (publ) subsidiary now possesses licenses across four major gaming jurisdictions including Romania, Gibraltar, Malta and the United Kingdom and is “committed to fulfilling the licensing requirements and objectives” of those licensing territories, always striving to “spearhead industry best practices.”

Policies and procedures check:

The company has, since its establishment in 2013, has put in place policies and procedures to ensure player’s rights are safeguarded and they are treated fairly. Furthermore, in keeping with its licensing jurisdiction’s technical requirements, measures have been implemented to “ensure the integrity of games and gaming devices.”

Independent auditors are tasked with auditing Yggdrasil’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) on an annual basis in order to ensure that data is “safeguarded and is classified in accordance with its policies and procedures.”
