Workers from Station Casinos, the major Las Vegas operator, picketed the company’s corporate HQ at the end of last week protesting at the group’s failure to agree a union contract.
Staff who are members of the Culinary Union and other employees called Station Casinos unfair, but there were banners on the building that insisted that it was a top gaming employer and that it offered family health benefits.
The union has faced stalled discussions with the company on a union contract for the first time for Station Casino employees. The dispute has rumbled on since 2016 and recently three of the group’s casinos have been shuttered after the pandemic, putting many workers out of a job.
