US GGR continues upward trend

Another excellent month for gambling GGR in the US saw October continuing the industry’s resurgence.

Adams Revenue Revue reports that the total from casinos, VLTs, sports betting and igaming was $5.2bn and the year-to-date reached $49.9bn.

Sports betting and igaming totalled $1.1bn, just a fraction short of the traditional leader Nevada, at $1.28bn.  The Nevada figure was its 20th consecutive month passing the $1bn mark.

Overall, the $5.273bn figure for the country was up 8.7 per cent and the year-to-date figure up 12.3 per cent.
