The latest news on the likelihood of the UK government’s white paper on gambling laws revision coming this week is fluctuating.
Late last week a flurry of activity saw the chances of the document being published today (Monday), being amended to tomorrow and then finally to until the country’s new Prime Minister takes over in September.
Reports in the press suggest that the present Cabinet now does not wish to impose legislation on Boris Johnson’s successor.
While the content of the document is widely expected to major on revising the UK’s online gambling regulations, there is hope that its proposals will also cover the possibility of introducing legislation that will permit debit cards in gaming machines.
