Daniel R Lee, president and CEO of Full House Resorts, says The Temporary by American Place welcomed over 40,000 guests in its first 12 days of operation.

The update on the new casino in Lake County, Illinois comes as Full House Resorts revealed its Q4 2022 and full-year 2022 results.

Q4 revenues decreased year-on-year to US$36.1m from $43.3m, with net loss for the most recent quarter $7m. Full House Resorts says adverse weather in December and construction disruptions at Bronco Billy’s affected revenues, as well as the launch of competing online sports betting in Louisiana.

For the full year, meanwhile, revenues dropped from 2021’s figure of $180.2m to $163.3m. Adjusted EBITDA changed from $47.2m in 2021 to $32.1m in 2022.

The Temporary by American Place opened on February 17 and Full House Resorts’ president and CEO Lee said the company remains “confident in our ability to generate attractive returns from both The Temporary and our future American Place destination.”

Lee said the number of available games on The Temporary’s casino floor will increase in the “coming weeks,” after opening night saw 80 per cent of the floor and 60 per cent of table games open to guests.

He added that the hours of operation for table games will also increase from its current 2pm to 2am schedule. And Lee expects the casino to soon operate 24 hours a day as opposed to the current 8am to 4am timetable.
