Initial figures from the Swedish regulator, Spelinspektionen, has shown that licensed gambling in the country had a turnover of €616.1m in the quarter ot the end of September.
This represented an increase of 7.2 per cent. Online revenue was up 10.5 per cent while the state-owned Svenska Spel operator’s lottery and slot halls revenue was up. 1.2 per cent at €126.7m.
Land-based commercial GGR was €534,000, up 23 per cent.
