The revenue for gaming companies in Sweden with an online licence in the second quarter of this year totalled SEK6.5bn (€637.4m), an improvement of just over 10 per cent
The revenue – the bets minus winnings paid – came after 64,000 players were suspended through the Spelpaus.se scheme, reports the Swedish gaming authority, Spelinspektionen.
Around 100 companies have active licenses on the Swedish market as of June of this year.
