Support for under-18s gambling ban in UK

There is public support for a ban on gambling for under-18s, according to the Gambling Health Alliance in a survey of the UK.

There should be a £2 limit for online slots, says the sample 2,094 adults canvassed in the survey. The GHA says that only eight per cent of gamblers and five per cent of non-gamblers would oppose a £2 limit.

More than half of gamblers, 57 per cent, and 63 per cent of non-gamblers support a ban on all gambling for people aged under 18.
