French casino operator Bains de Mer Monaco had a strong recovery following the pandemic in the first quarter of its financial year.
Société des Bains de Mer and its subsidiary SBM Group saw turnover of €207.8m compared with €110.9m. It was also 18 per cent higher than the turnover in the “more normal” quarter of 2019/2020.
Turnover for SBM’s gaming sector achieved €68.9m against €45.1m. Hotel revenues were €104.6m compared with €35.5m.
