Nevada’s coronavirus Emergency Response Fund has received a donation of $1m from Station Casinos, the major community casinos operator.



The money will be used for personal protection equipment and medical supplies for health workers. Station has 20 venues in the state.

At the same time the company’s CEO Frank Fertitta and vice-chairman Lorenzo Fertitta will give up their salaries for the duration. Casinos in Nevada will remain closed until May 1.

At the same time, news is coming through that two more staff members at Resorts World have tested positive for the virus, making three in all.
