Long lines of players gathered at the entrance to Nebraska’s first state-licensed casino when it opened its doors in Lincoln at the weekend.
The Lincoln Journal reported that the doors were opened to the public at 10am. by Tribal Elder and member of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska’s Tribal Council, Ken Mallory.
The new casino is named the WarHorse and was licensed by the Nebraska Racing and Gaming Commission, two years after voters in the state approved casinos at the state’s licensed horse racing tracks.
