Spanish video bingo and slots supplier Zitro has obtained carbon footprint certification – the amount of greenhouse gas emissions it produces.

An analysis of all phases of the life-cycle of its products had to be produced, from obtaining raw materials, through manufacturing, transportation, use and waste management. The carbon footprint thus identified, Zitro has turned to the creation of sustainable policies to reduce it.

Said Zitro founder Johnny Ortiz: “Obtaining the certification is essential for us to establish the criteria necessary to reduce it. We have a corporate social responsibility and we have always tried to stay one step ahead.

“The protection of the environment is part of our philosophy and hopefully many more companies will join in to achieve a greater impact.”
