Slot replacement demand continues to improve as participants in the Eilers-Fantini Third Quarter Slot Survey say they plan to replace an average of 7.2 per cent of casino-owned games over the next year.


That is up from 7.1 per cent in the second quarter, 6.5 per cent in the first and 4.2 per cent at the Covid low in the second quarter of last year.

Third quarter replacement slot sales in the US and Canada were 70 to 76 per cent of third quarter 2019 levels. That beat the second quarter, where replacement sales were as much as 64 per cent of 2019 levels.

Total demand for the quarter was 14,500 to 15,500 games sold, or a 29 to 33 per cent decline from 2019.
