Shooters have killed nine people, including a 12-year-old boy and four teens, at a slots arcade in the central Mexican state of Michoacan, reports The New York Times.

Michoacan’s attorney general said in a statement late on Monday, February 4, that eight people died during the arcade shootout in Uruapan, the state’s second-largest city. Another person died while receiving medical attention and others were injured.

The youngest victims were aged 12 and 13. Others aged 14, 17 and 18 also died, the prosecutor’s office said.
