The Indian Ocean island group the Seychelles has entered another lockdown, closing its casinos once again.


The island group has the highest injection rate against Covid-19 in the world, yet has imposed another lockdown on non-essential retail. It only reopened its borders on March 25, with the vital tourist industry the main impetus.

Over 60 per cent of its population has so far been vaccinated.
