A record quarter for revenue from SciPlay helped Light & Wonder to increase its full-year revenue for 2022 by 17 per cent on 2021’s efforts.

SciPlay’s revenue rose to US$182m in Q4 2022, an 18 per cent increase from the prior year period.

Meanwhile, gaming revenue rose 18 per cent year-on-year in the latest quarter to $438m, driven by gaming machine sales growth of 41 per cent.

And igaming revenue – which was also a quarterly record – increased 15 per cent from the prior year period in 2021, reflecting continued L&W growth in that market.
