Scientific Games strengthens lottery links

A new five-year contract has been awarded to Scientific Games to provide the Connecticut Lottery in the US with games.

SG is already a supplier of games to the lottery, but the new agreement increases the number of games in the lottery portfolio and elevates SG to “primary provider.”

The two have worked together for more than 40 years and presently SG serves as Connecticut’s systems and retail technology provider. In 2019 the lottery ranked in the top 10 in the world for total per capita sales. Since 1971 it has delivered $10bn in funding for many causes within the state.

SG will also provide marketing, research and analytics to help grow the lottery’s instant game sales across its network of 2,800 retailers.
