Double-digit growth is reported by Scientific Games in its fourth quarter and full year – up 27 per cent.
For the quarter ended December 31 revenue was $580m, up from $480m, income rose from a loss of $143m to a profit of $62m and EBITDA rose from $129m to $216m.
For the full year the company’s revenues reached $2.1bn, up from $1.6bn, income rose from a loss of $801m to a profit of $24m and EBITDA rose from $374m to $793m.
Said Barry Cottle, CEO: “It was a strong performance and an outstanding year as we grew double digits on both top and bottom line and generated substantial cash flow while laying the foundation for future growth.
“As we begin a new chapter we have chosen a new name, Light & Wonder. It is a name that evokes the kind of feelings we want to capture in the work that we do every day – excitement, inspiration, imagination and maybe even a little bit of magic and certainly a lot of fun.”
