Scientific Games extends Minnesota Lottery deal

Scientific Games has announced that the Minnesota Lottery has extended its existing four-year contract, continuing use of the company’s instant game entertainment to help drive funding in the US state for two more years.

Among the most popular Minnesota scratchers are Slingo branded games designed and produced by Scientific Games. A combination of bingo and slots, Slingo is one of the lottery industry’s most requested and best performing extended play games.   

“Minnesotans expect to have a variety of fun scratch games and playstyles to choose from. We are happy that Scientific Games will continue to help us deliver what our players want for the next two years,” said Wes Harms, director of operations for the Minnesota Lottery. “Branded games like Slingo have been popular with our players, which helps generate funding to support Minnesota’s environment and state services.”

Scientific Games has provided instant games to the Minnesota Lottery since its inception in 1990 through legacy companies.
