The British head of Twitter is being lined up to help take control of the UK’s National Lottery by bidder Sazka.


According to the Sunday newspapers yesterday, Sazka boss Karel Komarek (pictured) has tempted Dara Nasr to join a high profile advisory board.

Sazka is hoping to take control of the National Lottery from Camelot. A team has been put together to achieve the objective, led by Sir Keith Mills, founder of Air Miles and the Nectar points loyalty scheme.

Justin King, the former Sainsbury supermarket chain boss, and Brent Hoberman, founder of Lastminute.com, are also on the board. A 10-year licence to run the lottery is to be awarded bvy the Gambling Commission in November.
