As most US locations closed for the duration of the coronavirus crisis, Las Vegas Sands pledged $250,000 to local community groups in Las Vegas “during this time of need.”

The company also plans to help with donations of food and equipment. This move was announced at the same time as Sands said that it was closing its Venetian and Palazzo resorts in the city until at least April 1.

Operations at all 12 Pennsylvania casinos were suspended from yesterday, March 17, with no specific date set for reopening.
