Ukrainian online casino games developer RubyPlay has announced that its Quest of Gods video slot recently finished second in the £100,000 Slots Championship competition held by the United Kingdom-licensed domain at Lottoland.co.uk.
The Kiev-headquartered firm used an official Friday press release published by European Gaming Media and Events to detail that the five-reel and 30-payline advance first overcame the ever-popular Gonzo’s Quest title from NetEnt AB in the three-round competition via the unexpectedly high margin of 83% to 17%.
RubyPlay explained that this victory by the mobile-friendly Quest of Gods set up a semi-final meeting against Pragmatic Play Limited’s highly-touted Mustang Gold video slot, which it eventually managed to overcome by the much tighter margin of 55% to 45%.
The emerging developer pronounced that this welcome upset meant that a final clash against the Holmes and the Stolen Stones innovation from Maltese online casino games behemoth Yggdrasil Gaming Limited awaited its three-row Quest of Gods video slot. Although the mythology-themed title eventually failed by the very respectable margin of 49% to 51%, Ittai Zur, Chief Operating Officer for RubyPlay used the press release to declare that he was pleased with his firm’s inaugural showing in the prestigious Lottoland.co.uk competition.

“As a new player in the slots market, it was a great honor taking part in the £100,000 Slots Championship with Lottoland.co.uk. We also knew it would give us a good idea of how our games compare in terms of popularity with some of the biggest slot developers, competition for which we have a lot of respect. We are delighted with how Quest of Gods resonated with players at Lottoland.co.uk and to only just miss out on being the champions for 2020 was incredible.”
