Revisit a pirate legend in Play’n GO’s new swashbuckling adventure Jolly Roger 2

Improved graphics and several new features are just some of the things fans can expect to find in Play’n GO‘s latest release, Jolly Roger 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2012 original swashbuckling slot.

The 5-reel, 3-row, 20 paylines video slot is set aboard a three-masted galleon at sea that is captained by Red Roger, who along with his crew, are in search of adventure and hidden fortunes.

In addition to 10 through A card values, the pirate-themed game’s symbols include a bronze skull ring, a skull crucifix, diamonds, and a pirate chest overflowing with treasure, which are the high pays. The latter are worth from 5 to 10 times the stake for landing a five of a kind winning combination.

The Jolly Roger skull and crossbones serves as the game’s Wild and is equal the value of the treasure chest on a payline. With the exception of the Red Roger scatters, wilds can substitute for any of the game’s symbols. Fans will also find the game is packed with features including instant prizes, which are rare in Play’n GO games, along with random multipliers and two separate extra spins games, each of which is simply activated by a “fun pick and click feature.”

Special features include a Sea Compass, which is located at the top of the grid in between the words Jolly and Roger and is activated at random. When live, the compass adds a multiplier of up to 10x the bet.

The Bonus Quest feature is triggered by landing three Red Roger scatter symbols. When that happens, you’ll be invited to join Red Roger in one of his four adventure-packed quests that you choose. Start selecting from Roger’s 12 treasure scrolls and when you’ve matched three bonus features, you’re got your quest.

The four quests are Instant Prize, Bottle of Rum, Treasure Hunt, and Battle Free Spins. In the latter, players face off against different armadas to win bonus spins with reel modifiers. The second from last see players collect a treasure map and travel across the globe to find pirate gold. During the Bottle of Rum Bonus Quest, players choose from five bottles of rum and if they find a non-poisoned bottle, a stack of Wilds unleashes onto a reel at which time you can select again. However, if you select a bottle that’s been poisoned, you’re out.
