Registration is now open for the Australasian Gaming Expo, set for August 10-12 at the Sydney International Convention Centre.
Organiser Gaming Technologies Association reported yesterday that it had received a strong take-up of the space at the show, despite the lockdown and the almost total absence of foreign-based exhibitors and support staff.
The show is now in its 31st year and specialises in gaming equipment for the Australian and New Zealand industry.
Said the association yesterday: “After our pandemic-forced break, this year’s AGE has been a long-awaited opportunity to reconnect and network across all industry sectors.”
It also announced that there would be a lunch on August 11 at which participants will hear from former Federal Parliament member Julia Banks (pictured), author of Power Play – Breaking Through the Bias, Barriers and Boys’ Clubs, about the disruption that has occurred in Australian politics.
Banks will facilitate a panel of industry leaders on how they plan to disrupt the industry to ensure survival.
