The third quarter for Nevada casino operator Monarch was an all-time record, with revenue reaching $133.7m, up nearly 20 per cent on last year.


The operator’s net income was $27.4m, up 23.2 per cent on the 2021 figure of $22.3m and EBITDA reached $51.6m compared with $40.2m, an increase of 28.4 per cent.

John Farahi, CEO, said: “Our strong operating momentum continued. The ramp-up of our expanded and enhanced Black Hawk property continues at a robust pace, resulting in market share gains complemented by solid performance at our Atlantis in Reno.”

The Atlantis (pictured) has 61,000sq.ft of casino space, with 1,400 slots and 37 table games and 818 rooms. The Black Hawk has 60,000sq.ft of casino with 1,200 slots and 40 tables, plus over 500 rooms.
