Kicking off the last full month of summer, iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play has taken us back to the juicer side of life with their latest title, Fruit Party 2, the colorful sequel to the wildly popular original launched in May 2020.
This outdoor fruit party is set in the rolling countryside where nature’s goodness grows in abundance under a sunny sky and a 7-reel, 7-row game panel drops in 49 symbols, the majority of which are fruit, with every spin.
Pragmatic Play amps up volatility in this revamped version, going from medium to high while the default RTP is 96.53 percent and the game is available on all devices.
Cluster pays:
The cluster pays video slot awards prizes when blocks of 5 or more matching fruit symbols connect either horizontally or vertically. The bigger the cluster the bigger the win here, with 15 or more of the same symbol paying out 150x the stake for, in descending order, strawberries, oranges, apples, grapes, plums, and two of three of the game’s only non-fruit symbols, stars and hearts.
New to this game is a wild symbol that takes the form of a big W in a floaty bubble. These wild symbols not only substitute for all pay symbols, but they also come with multipliers. Meanwhile, the tumble feature sees winning clusters removed from the board allowing new ones to fill the empty spaces. The process repeats creating back-to-back wins until no new clusters appear.
When a cluster is removed by the tumble feature, a wild symbol may drop in to fill one of the spaces. These wild symbols come with multipliers that start at x2 and can be joined together across winning clusters for a max multiplier in the base game of 256x. If more than one wild symbol is part of a winning cluster, their values are totaled prior to being applied, and the wilds can be used in multiple clusters simultaneously.
Bonus round:
Landing at least three Golden Fruit Scatters on a single spin triggers Extra Spins. During the feature, the random wilds continue, awarding +5 additional spins to the existing amount with unlimited retriggers. And instead of starting with x2, wild multipliers start with x3 and increase up to a max of 729x.
Also new to this new version, depending on the jurisdiction, Fruit Party 2 now offers a Buy Feature option which takes you directly to the Bonus Round from the base game. It’ll cost you 100x the bet, with 3-7 scatters landing to award from 10 to 25 extra spins.
