Staying true to its ambitious games release goal, multi-product content provider Pragmatic Play has revealed its 15th new slot of 2021, Power of Thor Megaways, which takes on one of the most well-known Norse gods.
The high volatility, 117,649 payline video slot makes good use of the popular Megaways mechanic on lease from Australian developer Big Time Gaming (BTG), while offering players an immersive gaming experience with plenty of exciting features.

Pragmatic Play’s latest hit centers around the god of thunder, the sky, and agriculture, while the hammer-wielding deities’ jovial companions join him on the 6-reel grid set amid a perfectly sublime Midgardian landscape.

Available from April 1, 2021, Power of Thor Megaways’ regular symbols consist of 9-A card symbols while high pays include four Viking warriors and Thor, which is the most valuable symbol. Landing a line of six of the defender of Asgard will award 20 times the stake while landing six of the other high pays var from 2 to 5 times the wager.
The latest hit from the developer is also the most recent release to include tumbling wins and also sees the power of Thor’s Hammer, Mjölnir, spring to life. Appearing only on the top reel, taking up two positions, the hammer acts as a Wild and turns all of the symbols on the reels directly underneath it into wilds.
Landing at least four Scatter symbols on the reels, spelling out T H O R, triggers the extra spins mode. As many as nine Scatters can land on any spin, resulting in up to 30 extra spins being triggered. Prior to the start of the bonus round, players can choose to gamble their extra spins and possibly win more, however, they could also lose them all.
During the extra spins mode, a win multiplier enters the game, increasing by 1x after each tumble. The Hammer feature does not change, and neither do scatter symbols, adding 4 additional extra spins if 3 scatter symbols land.

Pragmatic Play’s newest addition to its rapidly-growing Megaways offering has a 96.55 percent RTP and follows Madame Destiny Megaways, which was released on January 27 this year, and the successful canine-inspired video slot The Dog House Megaways, which made its debut in August 2020.
The release comes on the heels of a distribution agreement with Colombian operator BetPlay and completion of the integration of its dedicated live casino offering, via its state-of-the-art Bucharest studio, with Mansion Group Ltd for its Asia-facing online betting and gaming brand, M88.
