Century Casinos’ venues Poland are to close for three weeks in response to the rise in Covid-19 infections.



Century Casinos of Colorado, US, announced its Polish casinos would close at midnight last night until January 18, to comply with regulations issued by the Polish government.

In the case of Century, its Polish operations contributed four per cent of its adjusted EBITDA for the third quarter of 2020. Century now estimates that its figures will continue to be impacted through the first half of 2021.

Through its Austrian subsidiary, Century has two-thirds ownership in Casinos Poland that operates eight casinos in six cities of the country.
