Online poker provider PokerStars has teamed up with PokerNews to offer an exclusive series this month. The December Freeroll Series begins this weekend via the platform and

additional freerolls will be offered in the future. This Sunday, the freeroll features a $5,000 prize pool. It also offers up one hour for late registration, so players have plenty of time to log-in and compete.

How to Take Part

To become involved in the freeroll, players need to visit PokerNews and enter an email into a special form. It’s that simple. Once an email has been presented, a password is sent out to use for playing in the event.

Of course, players need a PokerStars account to play. New members of the brand will need to sign up first and create an account to get started. Once the account is created, the password can be used to play in the freeroll as well as additional freerolls coming later in the month.

Continual Action at PokerStars

The organization is based in Brazil and the PokerStars partnership will look to expand entertainment in both online poker and the eSports world. With the deal, a new team of streamers has been created. It includes Lali Tournier, a female poker pro from Latin America, and Furia CEO André Akkari.
