Plaza Hotel & Casino to host Casino Battle Royal Demolition Derby at The Core Arena

The Plaza Hotel & Casino will be playing host again to the Casino Battle Royal Demolition Derby at the Core Arena this month, with the event set for a three-day weekend from the 26^th to the 28^th. Stirrin Dirt Racing will be producing the event, the largest promoter of the demolition derby in the sector. The family-friendly event first took place at the Core Arena last March and this year it expanded to three full days of fun.

Details of the Derby:

The demolition derby will feature a variety of heats including iron trucks, farm trucks and mini cars. Tickets can be purchased online and feature single day and three-day options. A single-day ticket is $45 while a three-day ticket is $135. There are options to purchase discounted tickets when staying at The Plaza.

On March 28^th, at 7 pm, the Plaza will be hosting an After Party within their iconic dome. The party is free of charge and will feature music and drink specials. Entertainment will be provided by the Snake Pit Pro Wrestling Academy with wrestling set to take place on-site. Showgirls will also be in attendance to provide the winners of the derby with trophies at 10 pm.

The Core Arena is the first and only permanent outdoor equestrian center located in downtown Las Vegas. The new location is home to two outdoor areas which makes it easy for the Plaza to host the demolition derby.

Along with the upcoming demolition derby, the Plaza has been busy with new and exciting offerings. The brand recently announced a new weekly podcast titled On the Corner of Main Street. The podcast will offer details on the latest information regarding gaming along with events in the area. It will also see people interviewed who worked to make Las Vegas a top tourist destination.
