A new casino is planned for the Isle of Man – if it obtains a licence to operate.
The island’s capital, Douglas, is the location of the project that will include hotels, bars and restaurants.
The scheme comes from Altostratus. It wants to build a three-storey Palace Hotel to replace the hotel currently on the Promenade at Douglas (pictured), where the current casino is located. The plan is to move the licence.
A sports bar, conference rooms and large car park are also included in the plan. The location is in Middlemarch and Altostratus has agreed to purchase the site for the building, provided that the moving of the casino licence is approved.
