Pixel Companyz Incorporated casino consortium eyeing Nagasaki Prefecture

Japanese conglomerate Pixel Companyz Incorporated has reportedly announced that it will be joining the race to bring an integrated casino resort to a site adjacent to the Huis Ten Bosch theme park in Nagasaki Prefecture.

According to a report from GGRAsia, the Tokyo-listed behemoth used an official filing to detail that it now intends to participate in the request for proposal (RFP) stage of the southern Japanese jurisdiction’s campaign to secure one of three coming licenses to build and operate a Las Vegas-style facility. The source explained that the firm’s revelation comes some three months after it inked an alliance with French casino giant Groupe Partouche and secured a capital and business arrangement with gaming industry specialist TTL Resorts Limited.

The company purportedly moreover pronounced that it had already informed local officials of its intention to participate in the RFP process and anticipates contracting with American architectural doyen Steelman Partners for the design of its envisioned gambling-friendly development.

Nagasaki Prefecture recently reportedly revealed that it had indefinitely postponed the RFP stage of its casino project due to the federal government’s procrastination in releasing its required ‘Basic Policy’ development criteria. The federal government of Japan is to now purportedly begin accepting applications for the three coming integrated casino resort licenses from October of next year in advance of a final cut-off date of April 28, 2022.
