The first digital version of Pitch, part of the upcoming Sports Betting USA and the Investor Digital Summit, will take place on November 9-11, promoter Clarion Gaming confirmed yesterday.



The first competition deadline when companies can register is October 2. They need to put forward their 2020 application form plus a supporting two-minute video.

They will be judged by a panel of senior international business leaders to arrive at the three start-ups with the most commercial potential. The finalists will go forward to pitch as part of Sports Betting USA 2020 before a live audience.

Ewa Bakun, director of industry insight at Clarion, said: “It has always been difficult for new businesses to secure the funding that they need to progress and develop. The pandemic’s impact continues around the world and is making it still more difficult and that’s why Pitch is important.”

Sports Betting USA and Sports Betting Investor Summit bring together sports betting, media and investment. The summit will feature analysts, industry experts, investors, operators and suppliers to explore the sports betting opportunity and its value chain.
