Pickering Casino Resort Finally Opened Last Night

The long-expected Pickering Casino Resort finally opened last night!

The Official Grand Opening of this $500m casino has been honored with many VIP guests and future visitors. Legendary Bryan Adams, a singer and songwriter from Canada, performed at the opening, which made the whole experience unforgettable for the guests. 

The casino’s opening night was enriched with many ceremonial confetti cannons, and the guests were stunned! 

Important guests and great fun:

Matt Antinson, the CEO of Great Canadian Entertainment, greeted the guests and announced the opening of this landmark destination resort. 

Among more than 300 guests were Kevin Ashe, the Mayor of Pickering, Peter Bethlenfalvy, the Ontario Minister of Finance, as well as Duncan Hannay, the OGL President and CEO. Hannay commented that the resort was “the most modern casino in Ontario.”

All of them were included in the festivities: Mayor Ashe was the one who counted down to the grand opening, and Anfinson pressed the red button that started confetti rain. 

After the magnificent dinner reception, Bryan Adams took the stage and gave the guests a night to remember. His performance was held in a 2,500-seat The Arena.

Pickering Casino Resort decided to announce some good news at the opening. The company donated $50K to the Ajax Pickering Hospital Foundation, which will have a huge impact on the health care of residents of the Durham Region.

The new casino is situated in the Durham Live entertainment campus, an attractive location that draws many visitors to enjoy its amenities. The Pickering Casino Resort is a great addition to the area, with more than 2,000 slot machines, 90 table games, a hotel with 275 luxury rooms, and wellness and business centers.
