Record monthly revenues have been recorded in the Pennsylvania casinos by the US state’s Gaming Control Board.

Combined total revenue in July from all forms of gaming and fantasy contests reached $423.6m, the highest monthly total for games regulated by the board. They include results from slots, table games, internet gaming, sports wagering, fantasy contests and VGTs.

The board noted that land-based casino gaming was particularly strong. The comparisons, said the board, were only valid if compared with 2019 because of the closures and restrictions in 2020 through the pandemic. In 2019 July showed revenues of $281.4m.
