In the United States and the American Gaming Association (AGA) trade group has announced that casino operator Penn National Gaming Incorporated has become the latest member of its Have a Game Plan: Bet Responsibly campaign.

The advocacy organization used an official Tuesday press release to detail that the move means that the Pennsylvania-based firm will now begin promoting Have a Game Plan: Bet Responsibly content across its entire estate of 44 gaming and racing facilities spread across 20 states. The AGA explained that the arrangement is to also cover Penn National Gaming Incorporated’s Barstool Sports-branded online sportsbetting app and social media accounts.

Education endeavor:

Casey Clark serves as the Strategic Communications Vice-President for the AGA and he used the press release to declare that his enterprise’s Have a Game Plan: Bet Responsibly initiative was launched in 2019 as a way to help educate punters about ‘the fundamentals of responsible sportsbetting as legal wagering options expand across the United States’. He also stated that the campaign ‘focuses on four key tenets of responsible gaming’ by encouraging bettors to be aware of the odds, set and adhere to a budget, keep their activities social and only play with licensed and trustworthy operators.

For his part and the Head of Interactive for Penn National Gaming Incorporated, Jon Kaplowitz, used the press release to divulge that his firm has now become the 20th member of the AGA’s Have a Game Plan: Bet Responsibly campaign as part of its ongoing commitment to advancing responsible gaming as a core value. He furthermore pronounced that the Wyomissing-headquartered company already exploited ‘a variety of approaches to promote responsible gaming’ including the provision of exclusion programs and the establishment of responsible gaming limits alongside working with sports leagues and teams, media outlets teams and other gaming operators ‘to educate the public on responsible gaming.’
