Data presented by SafeBettingSites indicates that global gambling companies in regulated markets have been fined £44.7m in 2020.

Three-quarters of that total came from the UK. Caesars Entertainment in the UK leads with fines amounting to £13m. Betway UK is second with fines worth £11.6m, followed by Sweden’s Kindred Group at £8.59m.

Mr Green, also from the UK, is fourth at £3m, followed by Boylesports Enterprises with fines amounting to £2.8m. Blackrock Media ranks sixth with £2.04m in fines.

BGO entertainment from the UK is seventh with £2m, followed by NetBet at £748,000, while Triplebet has been fined £740,000. GVC Australia has racked £106,773 in fines, followed by GAN at £46,000, while Glitnor Services from Sweden has the least fines at £34,068.
