Oryx increases presence in Colombia via new agreement with Grupo Vinnare for its FullRetro.co operation

Bragg Gaming Group company (TSXV: BRAG, OTC:BRGGF), Oryx Gaming, has increased its footprint in Colombia after having penned a deal with Grupo Vinnare SAS for its FullRetro.co online operation.

In September, the South American country’s gaming regulator Coljuegos issued an online gambling license to the company that was incorporated in Bogota in November 2017, granting it a three-year authorization to offer online casino games and sports betting via the online domain.

Full turnkey solution:

According to a recent press release, under the terms of the current agreement Oryx will provide its full turnkey solution to Grupo Vinnare, to include its iGaming platform, proprietary sportsbook, along with access to its diverse portfolio of casino content. The deal additionally includes the Slovenian firm’s exclusive proprietary titles and games from leading software suppliers such as Microgaming, Amatic, Gamomat, EGT, Isoftbet and MGA via the Oryx Hub.

The 16th operator in Colombia to receive an online permit, Grupo Vinnare is responsible for a significant number of casinos within the country’s land-based segment, operating a network of 250-plus retail locations across the republic.

Legislation:

Passed in October 2016, Colombia’s eGaming Act provided much-needed clarity to the legality of online betting sites in the country, paving the way for an open market. The Act legalized nearly every form of online gambling including sports betting, casino games, poker, fantasy sports, betting exchanges and more.

Milestone deal:

Managing Director for the Ljubljana-headquartered company, Matevz Mazij, said in an official press release…

“This deal is an important milestone for us as we have provided all the components to ensure a streamlined and painless launch of the FullReto.co website. This year we have significantly grown our presence in Latin America, and we believe Colombia is a market that has great potential for us business-wise. Our partnership with FullReto.co will enable us to grow further in Colombia.”

The ORYX iGaming platform was adapted so that it complies fully with Colombian regulation and additionally provides Grupo Vinnare with the possibility of establishing its reporting and financial processes as required in the South American country.

Via Oryx Hub, FullRetro.co will be able to offer players a sizeable portfolio of casino games among a selection of greater than 8,000 games and 110 providers. The online domain’s marketing team will additionally be provided access to “advanced promotion tools” such as achievements, leaderboards, tournaments and jackpots.

Regulated market expansion:

The Slovenia-based firm recently expanded its reach in Croatia in a deal that will see it supply a premium selection from its full RGS-supported portfolio to Favbet. Meanwhile, the current agreement increases Oryx’s presence in Colombia after its successful entry into the market in early October 2018 with fully licensed operator Wplay.co.

Both deals are in keeping with the company’s major goal in its business strategy for 2018 and 2019.
